It's been a week of mind-boggling long quizzes and research and body-tiring activities, which include emceeing a general assembly of biology students (which i did for the first time in front of a bunch of people. The remarks were good anyway) and going to a field trip to UP Los BaƱos just to go to the Museum of Natural History to see pictures of endangered species which are endemic here in the Philippines; trek (err, we rode a jeepney coz it's really far and rocky road beheads, believe me!) Mt. Makiling Reserve Forest just to measure a transect distance of trees from a 10-meter line (afterwhich getting species of plants within the area); get soil sample and analyze whether it's muddy, loamy, clay, or sandy, acidic or basic, suitable for plant growth or not; go to the Mudspring which we regretted after since what we saw was a spring full of trash and one that smells like sulfur leaving us only exhausted and breathless (and fatless due to tons of sweat escaping our stratum corneum). Then came tomorrow where we had to measure land area of plant species belonging to grassland biome (i hope you know these terms :>) and get some insects also found in the area. Haaayyyyy.... Sure you also got tired of reading this, me also while reminiscing it and typing this. Talk about the adventures of biologists. ;p
